What does your store sell and why?

This is a bakery. We sell bread and other pastries and desserts.

Who's your target audience?

People who enjoy eating artisan food products.

What was the biggest challenge you faced in creating your store?

Coming up with a story to tell to put content on the site to make it look like a real store!

What worked really well when using our platform?

Really easy to setup, pick a theme, upload images and create products.

What could be improved when using our platform?

Seemed to be some weird bugs when filling out fields, for example Cmd-Z to undo in one field actually affected another field I was not editing. Other services where you can upload images and the image is cropped or fits in some predefined shape, allow you to select what part of the image you want to show so you get the best shot.

How did this experience help you build empathy for our merchants?

It's not just having products to sell, it's also about creating visuals, text and other content to tell your story and communicate with your customers.

What is your biggest takeaway from this experience?

The store admin is very slick. It reminds me of WordPress but for making a store. I always thought it would be "easier" to do marketing for a product that was already excellent.
